Here they are

After much anticipation, here are my ornaments. Sorry to ruin the surprise for those who are receiving but I just had to share.

I began with wool yarn and crocheted large circles. Then I felted them (which isn't the easiest thing to do with a front loading machine). After several feltings I then pressed them for nearly a week to shape them. Then they were ready for embellishments. I embroidered snowflake designs on each of the circles and then stitched 2 circles together (yes - each ornament required 2 crocheted, felted, embroidered circles) and stuffed them to make a little pillow. Finally yarn was added for the hanger and they are complete. I made them in bright red, brick red, maroon, and purple. I'm really pleased with them and now wish I would have made one to keep. These are truly handmade ornaments and as with everything I make "handmade with love". They were sent out today to the various parts of the country and state in hope of making someone's holiday brighter.

Happy Holidays!!!!
