Finally on Friday - Last thoughts

This week I have been remembering my wonderful Aunt and sharing her with you. I'd like to finish this week with something she had on her refrigerator to read every morning. I now have the same piece of paper hanging on my refrigerator and I often read it. I love it, it makes me laugh and it makes me think of her.

Dear Lord,
So far today, I've done all right
I haven't gossiped, haven't lost my temper...
haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty,
selfish, or over-indulgent.

I'm really glad about that.
But in a few minutes, God,
I'm going to get out of bed,
and from then on I'm
probably going to need a lot more help.
