Some hope?
So this morning, I am starting to feel a little hope - a little. CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commitee) has clarified its requirements for the CPSIA. You can read about it here and some here. Consignment shops, thrift stores and other resellers of children's products will not be required to test all their merchandise. That is good news to those of us who sell our own children's clothes in consignment shops or shop in thrift stores. Perhaps that means they are hearing people and will consider more revisions. In the meantime, I am going through all my inventory for children and listing it in my shop while I prepare new items for those people over 12 years of age. Keep watching for more updates.
