I think one of the greatest features of our craft show coming up (see previous post) is enticing people with swag bags. What a great way for so many people to see the talent of many of the Etsyrain(PSIA) artists in one bag! Yesterday I got the pleasure of spending time with several of these artists stuffing (yes stuffing...there was that much stuff) swag into the beautiful bags. The bags had been sewn previously by members at a sewing spree and then items were collected (any member could contribute any number of items). Our goal was 50 bags. Well we ended up with 50+ bags. 50 for the first 50 to attend our show and then a raffle will give away other bags. Naturally we are all envious of these bags. They will be coveted and certainly a topic of conversation for time to come. Definitely a great way to get us noticed and remembered. If you are in the area, mark the day and the opening time because you will want one of these bags and to buy items from all the talented people who will be at the show.
